Default 2 of the top 3 reasons hunters quit

two of the top three reasons for hunters becoming inactive: Not enough game & Not enough places to hunt

these are the results of a $25,000 grant the Dept of Wildlife conducted.

AT the price of studies like this they will need to raise the price of tags. Then just like her in MT they fish and game say thay will need to dubble the tags. I say cut some studies like this.

isn't it odd that these same two reasons are what the majority of hunters in Pa have been complaining about since Pa started deer management 5 yrs ago?
Some posters make comments like ...well we can afford to loose some of the 1 day wonders...etc.
I for 1 don't think hunting can afford to loose any hunters!
HUNTERS ARE LEAVING THE SPORT BECAUSE OF LACK OF GAME & lack of game is why some people are now posting their land against outsiders that are putting more demands on what game remains---- HUNTERS ARE LEAVING THE SPORT BECAUSE LACK OF HUNTING PLACES

There will always be some hunters that are happy to see others drop out, putting the odds more towards them being the 1 in 20 or 30 that gets a buck. A shortsighted view of the future of sport hunting.

Steve F I don't have the mag infront of my right now but I do kind of remember it was on pg. 48 or so of Jan 05 issue. WB
T: it was a nationwide study done by Nevadea Dept. of Wildlife
$25,000 spent to tell them what they could have learned in any barber shop in Pa
