Default NY Hunters!!!

What is the deal with the rut around here? I think it is still on if it hasn't started yet down here in 3R. I watched a 6 pointer chase a doe the other day with his nose up her tail. Even though our season ends tomorrow, would a drag with some Tinks on it work still. I am not going to be hunting, but I would like to see how it works. Just for laughs. There has been a spike behind my house everyday at 11:00 AM and all night long bedded down behind the house. If I were to drag a rag around with some Doe in Estrous on it, I wonder how the buck would react? I think this would be funny. Just gonna tease him till next season, when I can shoot him.

they are probably in the "second" rut. the does that were not bred the 1st time have come back into heat and the bucks will be chasin them.

Bwahahahahahah!!!! It worked!!!! The does have been prancing around smelling where I dragged it and the buck almost came into my backyard!!! Bwahahahahahahah!!!!! That buck went wild when he smelt it. I had him walking in circles for about 15 minutes...... LOL!!! Too bad today is the last day, otherwise, that buck would be in the freezer...
