Maryland Rut Activity

I hunt in central Maryland have have seen more rutting activity, bucks really chasing, in the past week than the rest of the season. Is it the second rut or just the colder weather getting them in the mood. Anyone else seeing any activity?

Seen a nice buck checking a few doe out last week at G.P.Park in Hereford.

2nd rut is 28 days after the first one so more than likely you are seeing the makings of the second rut which won't be as intense as the first.

Yea its most likly the second rut I hope so I'll be out christmas eve morning with my ML hope they will be moving.All the rutting activity I heard about was a couble of weeks ago.
