Well - Saturday is the last day of rifle season. Who's going out and where? I'm interested to see if the lack of hunting over the last week let the woods return to normal and got the deer back on their old patterns.
I will be out, probably not all day as I have a Xmas party in the early evening. I'm guessing the deer although skittish, may return to somewhat normal movements, just probably staying a little tighter to heavy cover during daylight hours.

You were right, I was out today and the deer are back to using the same paths as they've been all year but that will change come tomorrow that's for sure. I'm hunting in the thick stuff tomorrow, got out the old trusty 30-30 because it has a scope and the see through sites underneith incase the brush prevents a scope shot. I was even thinking about getting the 12 gauge out with some slugs but I think the 30-30 will do just fine. It's the last day and I finally found where they have been at all along!!!
