Default Anyone see any bears in New Jersey?
Any of you guys see any bears during the opening day of the shotgun season? If so where about and how big?

We hunted zone 4, and none of us saw any bears, and we stopped to get dinner on the way home, and the hunters we talked to said the same NO BEARS seen !!!!

just my buddy's wife when I knocked on the door at 4:30 in the morning ....very scary ...she goes about 200lbs

Seems no one who hunted during the 6 day shotgun season in bear country saw any? I was surprised myself that myself and 3 friends saw none

I didn't see any during the buck season but I ran into one the Saturday before while squirrel hunting behind my house.(zone 6) He was around 250-300lbs. Not giant but not small either.
