Welcome to the Board.

I've been Bow hunting for 4 years now. Its been a frustrating season for me too. Now that the gun season is in, we're going to have to let things quiet down a bit before we take the bows off the wall. I gave it a month after shotgun last year before I went out again. The sign didnt pick back up until after XMas though in my area. But, January was real exciting, although not productive.

Where in the state do you hunt. Exact location is not necessary.

Keep on them!

north of the canal...I have yet to score some private land. If I got into shotgun when I was younger I would have been better off, but I never could get into it, for one reason or another hunting with a gun didn't seem much of a challange (not trying to start an argument on the board) plus I was WAY into bass fishing. Hunting was a hit or miss deal with me....I got into to the bow and am "all in" now.

I have seen doe everytime I have gone out this year no bucks at all. The only shot I took I shot over.

dont feel bad about not scoring. i have been hunting de for yrs not with the bow only and every year i learn something hunting these marshes...it's crazy. i am hunting nj for the first time this year and it has been fun. i have seen deer, blew one shot, and now chasing a buck that is scraping in my field that i hunt(private). i will hunt wed in NJ...and then heading back to de for a thanksgiving day hunt...i love the evenings on thanksgiving..the morning to. if small gamers are out...it can be exciting with the deer running by u..
