This is my first year back hunting again in 10 years. I am going for buck, but also for the first time bear. I feel i have a very good chance for a bear this year. I have seen about a 400lb cinnamon one and several others around where i live. I even got one on my trail cam. But most likely they will all disappear for three days and then show up on the fourth day!

Where do you hunt? We hunt on top of Red Rock Moutain, in Bear Swamp, in Ore Run and SGL 13 from near the Job Corps down to Jamison City. We've had luck with bear from Ore Run. Two kills and one miss in a 3 year period - plus a coyote a few years before that. That would be nice if you got the cinnamin bear.

Barnes i was just in Jamison city today. I ate at the penny bar. Where the entire bar top are pennies from 1983. I live in Hunlock Creek and i hunt on my own land.

That's too funny. I drove by there today on my way to Benton. I had to buy some children's Motrin at the Riverside because the 1 year old is teething. The Central is the place you want to get prime rib from. Good luck with those bears. I'm going to be hunting on the side of Red Rock and I'll let everyone know who we make out.
