yes sir its nice when a plan comes together, myself and hrtshot entered the woods around 2:15 this afternoon and found 2 huge tree,s 2 feet apart and locked up in them about 30 feet up. now not taking a deer this year i said i would take the first one by and let hrtshot take the next if any were to fallow. at 3:50 hrtshot pointsout a nice button buck heading in our direction, i got a nice shot at 20 yards he ran 50 yards and piled up, success on video i was pumped, 4:35 PM a nice doe enters the woods and comes less then ten yards hrtshot came to full draw and bang wow what a noise his cam hit his stand and the deer was out of there to the field as soon as she hit the field a monster bodied 8 point ran in and walked strait to us and turned broadside at 12 yards and game hrtshot a chance to make up for that choke (lol) he placed a double lung shot on the buck and he piled up on the edge of the field less then 80 yards away , hrtshot can fall in poop and come out smelling like roses , what a day , hrtshot will post some pics hopefully tomorrow oh yeah and he was in full rut
JUST SO YOU KNOW, ANY DEER YOU TAKE WITH YOUR BOW IS NICE AND ANY DEER YOU TAKE ON VIDEO IS NICE. JUST MHO YOUR JEALOUS , WE DID IT WITH OUR BOWS NOT AT 200 YARDS WITH A HIGH POWER RIFLE
What are you doing with the video. Did you get the 8 on tape too? As for the trophy button buck. I agree, any deer with a bow is special. I would suggest that you might want to try and let the yearling walk if possible, but I have shot them in the past and if you are out to shoot a deer it works.

The man had not killed a deer all year, I am sure it wouldn't have made a differnece if the button buck came in haning off his mother's nipple. If its brown it's down.
