I shot a 4 point with my bow Saturday night. He came right into my scent (whitetail maniac) and I also tickled antlers and doe bleated.

He was checking his scrape line. He was also a little tanked up in the tarsal area. I should have cut them off for future use.

I took a small one Thursday evening with my bow. Second year in a row for scoring with the bow on opening day evening.

shot a doe on sat morning, up til then only saw small bucks, 7 to be exact, all 1 1/2 yr olds, I wont see any big boys till rut. No sign of rut here yet, although everybody else keeps telling me they see bucks cruising, tending scrapes, and some have even see fighting.

I hunted black powder on Friday and Saturday. Saw a decent buck at first light (it was still pretty dark though) on Friday but he didn't present a shot. On Saturday morning, I saw a little spike and a basket rack 8 point. He was about 90 yards away and when I hit the grunt tube, he proceeded to take his aggressions out on a 2" sapling. It was my first time seeing anything like that. Pretty neat...
Saw about 35 deer on Friday and about 25 on Saturday. No kills for me yet. I'm still holding out to kill a doe with my bow.

hey guys, i was hunting in harford co. this thursday on a buddys land , i set up my dog house ground blind about 45 yards from a main trail leading to the field were we have been seing 5 to 8 doe,s almost everynight . well some time around 5:30 pm i notice a deer sneaking into the field 30 yards from my location it didnt take me long to notice the body size and posture of this buck. he had a giant neck and wrinkles all down his neck and a big patch of hair missing from his upper shoulder and back ,he continued to walk in that stiff posture down the field to around 50 yards i had my 3x9 bushnell on his vitals the whole way it was hard not to take this buck even thought he was only a 7 point he was a giant bodied deer and deffinatly in FULL RUT, so if your hunting in harford co. get out there cause the rut is on starting now ,, good luck guys

Shot a doe. She had a 3.5 year old buck chasing her but his one side was only 2 small spikes, figure it's an injury and passed. Actually the 3rd time I've passed on him, hope he makes it till next year. He'll be HUGE.
