Had about 11 different bucks walk by tonight the smallest was a spike but a hair over the 3" limit to pass for an antlerless and the largest was an 8. They were traveling in groups. So no action yet. And I'm still looking for my doe or button.[:@]

Went to ZOne 2 on Monday and saw all baldies with 2 small buttons.

I have a blazing rub in front of my stand and a smaller one behind but not part of a rub line. Still green/thick/wet up there and I do not think the pre-rut has started.

I've hunted Zone 6 every day (in the AM) except Sundays and last Friday.

Results:

- 2 doe (grunted them in)
- 1 four pointer
- At least a dozen turkey

I hunt 2 areas....Rockaway River WMA and Mountain Lakes. Both of my spots have scrapes and rubs galore. My guess: the deer are in there at night and sleeping in people's backyards all freaking day.

Hey Drag! you got that right. Since the farmer on the land cut his corn maze for halloween, there has been alot more deer in the area. Guy that hunts on the same farm just bagged a nice 8 point, after he was chasing some does. Still waiting for the big guy to come by my stand. Have not had a buck near me since opening day
