Default I hunt in NY on the PA border, how's acorns

How has the acorn crop been in your area?
I live in upstate NY and hunt Chemung and Tioga counties.I have not seen many acorns where I'm hunting. There are a few huge white oak tree's where I hunt and hardly any acorns on the trees!
Last year was the same way!Could all the rain we have had be the problem? Thanks for your comments.

I'm seeing more acorns this year than last. But it's not a bummper crop by any means. Were located in southern Steuben county.

NW NJ has very few acorns compared to last year when they were raining down.

Very light in 9A & 9H. I moved my stand to an apple orchard because my usually stand didn't have any acorns.

We have a farm in van etten not far from you, I have no idea what is going on up there, I will be there the weekend of the 15 and plan on planting some winter wheat or somthing. We have no acorns here in the poconos and I expect the same for up there ...

I am hunting Catt County Near Olean And Bradford. There are more acorns this year than the last two years combined but it is by no means a bumper crop. Nice apple crop though.

Here in southern Steuben County I've seen more acorns than last year, but I don't believe the crop is quite up to a "normal" level... One thing I have noticed is that there seems to very few red oak acorns, while the white oak crop, which is generally spotty, is about normal..Wherever there ARE white oak acorns the deer and turkeys are working them pretty heavy....They don't stay on the ground long..
