On September 26 from 10:00am - 4:00pm the Pequest trout hatchery in Oxford NJ will be conducting a celebration for National hunting and fishing day. There will be a FREE 15 target 3-D range for experienced bowhunters and a 5 target beginners course with instruction. There will also be two laser firearm systems there to either learn how to shoot, sharpen your skills or just plain show off! he fishing education pond will also be open for fishing for those who complete a fishing education course that day. There will be numerous seminars on various hunting and fishing topics including a deer hunting seminar given by jbc a regular post contributor to this site, thanks Joe. Dont miss this event there will be something for all to enjoy. Remember to start a kid fishing or hunting it is something you will not regret!
This is the same event and there will be lots to do for all! The 3-D course will consist of 10-deer, 1 coyote, 1-raccoon, 1 chuck, 1 turkey and one big old bear! The beginner course will have people who have never shot before in the field on their own course after receiving instruction from the best instructors in the country, NJ hunter education volunteers and UBNJ members. These two groups deserve a big hand.
