I went sat. Used no stinkin ticks on my clothes, no stinkin bugs on my head and lower calfs and my thermacell tied to a tree step. Also wearing scent lok savannah suit. Some one sugested putting scent control on your feet so they won't sweat, It worked like a charm. My feet were never so comfortable. With all that bug stuff and what not, I still had bucks passing at 12 yds in a swirling breeze and one bedded down within 25- 30 yds in plain view. To bad I need a doe first. Oh as to the skeeters, only saw 1

[>:]well i went out yesterday and got eaten alive. i wore a face mask, so my face survived, but my hands were a different story. I wore gloves with the fingers cut off. The exposed parts of my fingers were just hit like crazy. i must have got 30 or more bites.

I wish my biggest problem was skeeters. I leave for military in 99 come home end of 03 my favorite woods are all developed. Stuck hunting small tracts of land until I find some public land a little further west of Z 51
