Default NJ Crow Hunting

Seriously, does anyone really crow hunt? Or are most like me and use crow hunting as an opportunity to take a gun outside and scout for the upcoming archery season?

If someone shoots a crow...what do they do with it? Garbage? Fertilizer?

go to http://www.crowbusters.com ...they have allot of information on crow hunting.

i called in 3 and shot 1 this weekend ...just a little practice until hunting season starts up again. crows are very smart birds and hard to hunt, it's more challanging then you think.

i don't think most people eat them, although on crowbusters they have receips so i guess some people do.

just leave them or set them out and give the dying crow call to lure more in.

I might "go for a walk" this Saturday in the Rockaway River WMA. I saw on the crowbusters web site that you can donate feathers to native american tribes.

Pretty cool. I won't feel as bad shooting the crow and not eating it.

I need to find a crow caller (I do not really care that much...I am mostly out for deer scouting).

I downloaded some crow MP3s. I am just going to burn them to a CD to play in the woods. Wish me luck.

I will be going "crow hunting" again tomorrow morning to check on my
deer bait (and place some more). Hopefully, a bear will not be there.
