I'm in 5c and not familiar with 5d,I woud suggest checking out the game commission website. Thiey list all gamelands and even have maps available

I hunt this unit but in York county. If you can make it there, there is a ton of deer and alot of land to hunt.

sorry I had to edit this, I was thinking 5b so I guess I don't hunt 5d. All these stinkin' numbers and letters drive me nuts

I hunt some private land in 5D. Strictly bow hunt. There really isn't much down here in way of public land. Most of the places are lotto hunts like the state parks and such. That's why 5D had doe permits left over last year and all other WMU's were sold out fast.

Bearklr - Where was that picture taken? It looks an awful lot like Rt. 487 up in Sullivan County. As a matter of fact, I think I can see the sign for the Ricketts Glen State Park entrance on the horizon. Is it on top of Red Rock Mountain.
