Anybody know what the opening date of shotgun season in NY is ?

if you are talking about the southern zone, it is Nov 22 - Dec 14

You better check your dates because I believe it is the 15th. I think the regs read the starting day is the second Monday after the first Tuesday.

The shotgun season in souther ny can never start before the 16 of nov.Its always the first monday after the 15th for now.

That is correct. Opening day is the first Monday after the 15th of Nov. Southern Zone of course
