Default Where do Delaware hunters buy their gear?

Hi all,
I understand most of you seem to be from mid to down state. I was wondering where you buy your gear? (At what local shops?) I'm from Newark and the only store we have around here is Dicks. After that it's pick up a catalog or drive to K&L Archery in Smyrna. Do any of you have any feedback on K&L? I'll wait to hear form a couple of you before I share my experiances there. Anyhow I'm wondering if there are any other local shops where you can get archery and hunting supplies.

I buy from Cabelas. K mart. Walmart. K & L is a good place , Karen will treat you right I also go to Smyrna Sporting Goods owned by a personal friend of mine Bryan Brown. I buy all my guns there. I dont thin Karen and Larry Voss have a FFL, but not real sure about that. Smyrna Sporting Goods is the cheapest place anywhere to buy guns and they are located in the center of Smyrna , when you come in town SB Rt 13 go to 2 nd light Ford dealer, turn Rt next traffic light it is on the corner on your left across from PNC bank..

I get almost all my stuff from cabelas or eders.com. The lady at k&L does a good job and seems fair, She is the only place i would take my bow to have it worked on if i had a wheel compound. I tried several other places and was extremely dissatisfied.

I buy 99% of my equipment from Cabela's. But I have had my bow worked on at K&L, bought equipment there, and also bought stuff from the Smyrna Sporting Goods Store. Never had a bad experiance.

In fact, before the new phone in deer registration was in place, K&L was nice enough to registar my Sept bow kill even though it was long past closing time. A nice group of people.

Thanks for the input guys! I split my purchases fairly evenly between the online (Red Head & Cabela's), Dicks and K&L. My only frustration with K&L is when you get someone other than Karen. I bought my bow from her acouple of years ago and she did a great job of setting me up and helped with my shooting but if shes not in the store and you get one of the other guy's My confidance in their knowledge and advice goes way down. Especually when you have them asking questions to each other???? I live in Newark and only make the trip 2 -3 times a year and hate it when I walk in and she's not there. I don't know the others by name, can any of you make a recomendation of who to ask for if Karen is out?
