I hope they do pass the bill for cross bows. MY dad loves hunting he has nerve damage in his shoulder. He can't lift a compound bow to shoot it.

I see no problem enabling a truely disabled person the use of a crossbow. As long as they can't draw, hold and shoot a compound let them use a crossbow and enjoy the time afield. However, I strongly oppose the use of crossbows for the able bodied that just want an easy way into archery season.

I made a brace for his shot gun. I'll make 1 for his cross bow.

I don't believe they should be allowed for able-bodied folks in the normal archery season. I have no problem with disabled folks using them at any time, or able bodied folks using them during the firearms season.

I know a guy that killed a doe last season with a crossbow....man did it do some damage.

Guy isn't handicaped or anything.....just overweight. Shot the damn deer from 65yds away.
