Anybody finding any yet in WV? I'm heading in this weekend to hunt them on our farm. This weekend last year we found nearly 1,000. I found 3 little black sponge on our land on Apr 9, so with the warmth they should be up now.
This weekend is mushroom/turkey scouting. Next Thursday-Saturday is turkey/mushroom. Can't wait!

Talked to my buddy at our camp and he hasn't found any yet. I'll be heading down Friday in hopes of tagging a gobbler opening day and on the way out finding the morels to complete the dinner. Good luck on finding both
Where's your camp? Our farm is in Braxton county. Lots of turkeys, but they're stubborn. We usually kill a couple opening weekend each year...Last year we killed 4 jakes early. Couldn't get any big birds interested.
