Default Sportsmans Show Rochester NY

Boy this "show" keeps getting worse every year!Less exibitors and venders,if someone gave me the money to book a hunt for free in there,I'd leave and give their money back,if we can't do any better that this poor excuse for a "show"maybee there shouldn't be one and I think that's where this "show" is headed![:'(]

I usually go up there every other year or so. Once I even manned a booth for some friends who had a fishing guide service out of Champlain. But that's not the point. Every year was the same old stuff. Then there became less to do with hunting and more with fishing. Went last year to buy a cool sling for my shotgun and the guy wasn't there. In fact no one carried his sling. This year I watched the hunting and fishing forums on other sites and saved the addmision fee for the wife and I. I also heard there was plenty of parking. Years ago I used to go two days in a row cause it was so good. Now I'll wait till it comes out on video.

I hear ya.. $ 8.00 for that? How about some door prizes to make things interesting? However, I did not feel ripped off, because I know going in that the show is not going to be be good. One table with turkey calls? At this time of year? One would think that Gander Mt. and Dick's would represent themselves there and add some flair to this lackluster "event"
