Man, I tell you - I need to stop going to Cabelas!! It's my second trip in 3 weeks!! Dropped anther $450!! I will be broke if I keep going. Couldn't pass up the free $40 they gave me for being a Cabelas memeber. Guess they made out ok - $40 to get $450. A little plug - if you do any business with Cabelas, it pays to join the Cluband get a Cabelas Visa - I get over #120 in free merchandise every year. Not a bad deal.
Well, they are having a spring fling in late March. Hope I can stay away.

What day did you go down? I was there with my family on Friday night to take advantage of my free $40. I signed the wife and both of my parents up for Cabelas visas and got another $120.... The only think I bought for myself was a new grain scale for archery use. I managed to keep my spending under $160....
I will probably be over again before the opening day of trout.

I hear ya. Bass Pro is opening in my hometown. The store is about 4 minutes away from me and in my line of vision everyday on the way home from work.[8D] I fear a second job will be in order. The only question is whether I'll spend more money on fishing gear of hunting.

After seeing the first item on your list I can understand how you spent so much.... You also served as a reminder for me to pick up one of those bino-systems when I head out there the next time.
I'll tell you what, I haven't been able to get out there yet, but I can't wait. I think I could go there and spend hundreds of dollars everytime I went. Give me 50,000 dollars and I bet I can spend it there within 2 hours!
