Just got an invite to a new place in Pa.I think it's around Butler. It is the opening weekend next week.I am considering checking it out with my new bow, still undecided yet.Have to find out a bit more info.don't really want a canned non fair chase hunt.I beleive it to be on 100 wooded acers. When I get more info.name of place etc. I will post.

Been to Coldbrook hunts in Homer, NY a few times. It's 200+ acres fenced but with a bow it's NOT a guarantee you will take anything. Guides will work for you. Mostly stalk through a nasty swamp and hardwoods. Big boars.

I killed this 240# boar in Bedford Co.,Pa.It was on about 350acres and it was pretty decent for what it was.I don't think I would have enjoyed it if I was rifle hunting but with the bow it was cool.

Most preserves will run you around $400 for the day.

I have gone to a place near Canton, New York for the past 4 years called Old Stone Fence Hunting Adventures. I have thoroughly enjoyed the boar hunting there which is the reason I went back. The owner, Steve Fobare, is a wonderful host and guide. It is about a 3 hr. drive from where I'm from, which just happens to be the exact place you're from. They have a website which is www.fobarehunting.com. I hope this helps you out- just e-mail me if you want any more info.

Not recommended,Not even remotely fair chase, might just as well hunt in a barn yard.
