Anyone see that part about the deer problem. What a horriible story. Deer arent a problem its people taken down woods and puttin up houses and sayin its there land it isnt theres its the deer and hunters land. where i'm from hunting seems to solve the problem not slaughtering deer. Any thoughts?

I saw it..... Deer (and other wildlife) are a part of nature and man is intruding into their territory. These anti's just don't get it! If you are going to live in their (the animals) world then you have to deal with the problems that come with it. In the heavily populated areas the deer have to be controlled whether by hunting or trapping. At least on the program (in a Texas area) they were catching the deer and either relocating them or slaughtering them and providing the venison for needy families. In a completely natural environment Mother Nature would be able to control overpopulation by starving some and letting the fittest survive. But now man is controlling these overpopulated areas and the deer are trying to survive the only way they know how - by eating shrubery and plants in peoples backyards. Something has to be done... Let responsible taxpaying hunters with bows or slug-guns thin out the population OR spend a lot of taxpayers money to relocate or slaughter. I VOTE FOR THE RESPONSIBLE TAXPAYING HUNTERS!!!
