Kinnilon Police shoot bear

Just saw a ticker tape message on the news that the kinnelon police shot and killed a bear after it attacked and killed a dog in someones backyard. Guess not enough bears were harvested, and they are still causing problems. Just glad it wasn't a child.

IF IT'S TRUE, THEN IT PROVES THAT NJFG&W WAS RIGHT ALONG. I AGREE, THANK GOD IT WASN'T A CHILD.

It was on the channel 12 news this mornig The Jersey news network stating As local as news gets.

ALSO IN TODAYS STAR-LEDGER WAS A STORY ABOUT A BEAR THAT WAS SHOT IN THE REAR LEG DURING THE NJ BEAR HUNT, ANTI-HUNTERS FOUND THE BEAR IN A TREE, AND HAD CONTACTED DOCTORS ON HOW TO HELP THE BEAR HEAL. THEY ARE DOIN THIS AND FEEDING THE BEAR. IT ALSO SAYS THAT THE NJFG&W WANTS TO KNOW WHERE THEY HAVE THE BEAR, BUT THEY WILL NOT GIVE OUT THAT INFO.
