i live in the snow belt in warren county, pa.......santa better have rudolph or he aint gonna make it. we got about 14" of snow on the ground, more expected.

I love it up that way, i have a camp in McKean , jsut otside of Kane, and the snow up there is awesome. Those are true deer woods , nothin like down here in the suburbs of cities and stuff. Nothin like climbing up the mountain on first day in blinding snow to get the heart goin , and the war of the orange coats breaking out at dawn.

Hey Boyscout, how about the overnight snow before opening day of buck up there last year , 16 inches was recorded by morning. it was nuts....

Still trying to decide whether to come up your way for the last day with the smoke pole or to just hunt round here. All that snow is tempting. Did it just fall in the last 24?
