Success in upstate NY
Hey fellow hunters, I want to share my successful opening day in our southern tier shotgun only season. I shot a nine point 162 lb. buck at 11:00am and then shot a doe 3hrs and 45min. later out of the same stand! The gut piles where less than 100 yards apart! I feel very lucky. Goes to show you just never no when they'll show or where! I had stiches in my arm so I missed the early southern tier archery season and was bummed big time. I've shot alot of deer in my time but this was the best single day I've ever had. Hope your hunting goes as well or better!
