i'v seen a few doe that were to far away to shot at and on saturday i seen a littel fork horn but let him go b/c i figured i'd try and find a bigger one
I have seen a few forkhorns , and being a junior license holder with a few larger bucks under my belt ive let them walk.. But come tommorow , i dunno it may be hard to let them slip by without some lead being thrown... I shot a doe tuesday tho....

I seen three bucks on opening day... That was it, nothing since. Where's they go? No one else is hunting on our hill so they should still be there. Even the does are scarce.

I got another doe on the last day , about 45 minutes b4 dark on the last drive of the day.now its jsut time to get the smokepole out and get some bone.

All I got was an excitement for next year. I saw 4 non-legal bucks and two nice bucks. One I kicked out at dark and all I saw were antlers going up the hill and the second one was in the yard of the cabin on Tuesday night. Besides that I am saving my tags for the late season, because what would I do if there was a hunting season left and I coudn't hunt?
all of the excitement ended in disapointment. only saw a small herd first thing in the morning before legal shooting hours. oh well, there's always next year.
