Hey DJ - hows it going

It was a tough year - hard hunting and frustrating - I let many smaller bucks walk - saw some good ones.................

But then this bad boy made a mistake

that picture is a fake! you can clearly see that the animal is actually a bear that has been spray painited to resemble a deer. and the time of day it was taken is is also in question. and just to really stir things up, i heard he was hunting his new honey hole, which just happens to be tresspassing on private land. he has so cleverly nicknemaed this place "the cages" .....at the san diego wild animal park to be exact!

Thanks guys

DJ - I got him out East - public land, nothing fishy (A.K.A.) - Bob will vouch as to the legality of this deer. Haven't really put the tape to him - I am not a big measuring guy - but he his between 140 and 150 I figure.

I got him Nov. 23rd - he was hot in the rut. I had him real close to me (15 yds) at the end of October and never got a good shot on him (quartering to).

Good Luck
Chuck

I don't know about how they do things in New York, but Maryland has a new program called "Laces for the Hunters". They donate new shoe laces for hungry Maryland hunters, while the hunters donate food to the hungry. You might want to ecourage New York to do the same!
