PA rifle opener tomorrow!

Im pumped, i cant wait!!!! if all goes well, in 12 hours from now i should be dragging one out of the woods. them sneaky suckers got away from me during archery, they wont have the same luck during gun season.

Good luck out there today. Hope you get a wall hanger. I usually get up to the poconos area for opener but I can' t this year. I will be up there next year for the opener.

sorry PAhunter, i never checked the post again until tonight. i hunted in the mount gretna area today and i scored!!! yeah baby!

and supermag mentioned a wall hanger, well i got one. check it out! im going to post it in the general hunting forum. its a 12 pointer, with one chipped tine. AWSOME!

the one tine on the left hand side is broke, so its hard to make out.











sorry for the crappy pics, but there was nobody else there to take em. the deer is in the back of my jeep. so if you can image the back of a jeep wrangler, the other end of the deer is curled up over the other side just like the head, if that makes sense. it a pretty big deer.

Eastwood, wgal (local nbc channel) did a report on the opener today, and they were in your area, just curious if you saw them or not.

were you on state game lands 156?

no i didnt see them, but yes, was was very close to 156. i was pretty quite today. i assume it was because of the weather so maybe tomorrow will be good as well.
