Default Seeing any big bears in PA (Lycoming)?

I was just wondering if anyone has seen any big bears in the state this year as the season approaches. I took a boone & crockett a couple of years ago but haven' t seen any of any size lately. The last one I saw was 3 years ago at our camp. It was harvested that year and dressed out at 650 lbs. I have also spoken with some game wardens who said they tug 3 boars each over 900 lbs but I can garauntee they aren' t going to tell you where they are hiding! Just checking in. Good luck to everyone!

Default RE: Seeing any big bears in PA (Lycoming)?

I live in Gouldsboro PA in WMU 3D and we have had roughly a 600 pound bear running around hitting all the bird feeders.

I have heard of several sightings of this bear, but none this week.

Good luck....
