It depends on where your going .

Generally a lack of mast, and the rut is just starting.

Things are not too bad. The rut has taken a while to get going, but I think that it is kicking in now. The woods had been quite, hard to find much activity! However, as of this week, things are picking up. I took a decent 6-point on Wednesday 11/12(rifle). Now heading out with bow. Saw a 4 point today (Saturday) at 15 yards, but behind me and no good shot with angle and brush. The bucks are moving...just need to be patient and confident and boom...they will come. The recent winds may be keeping the rut from really taking off. Who knows?
