Default South Jersey

ok .....Just got my dad to resume Deer hunting after a long and agonizing infatuation with small game. Where are the Hot Spots in South Jersey ?

during the gun season the hunting clubs drive the hell out of the woods in south jersey like a army! be careful and my advice would be to head north or find some private land. not to say you wont find alot of hunters up north but at least you wont have to put up with the pack mentallity of those 100 man deer drive clubs. if you do have to hunt in the south head in deep and maybe get in some sWampy stuff because those clubs are to wimpy to walk in any slop. GOOD LUCK

I second liquidorange' s suggestion. Hunt thick and deep and be there very early I mean like 1-2 hours before shooting time because when the clubs get ready they start scaring them deep and that is when the big boys start a running.

Good luck

Hey Slugman, can you elaborate on the " state record" ? Are you listed in the state books for taking a record deer?? THanks.

Bob

As far as hunting in the SOuth, I' m a Northern Jersey guy so I have zero experience down there. Good luck.
