Doomsday and I have been putting in the time getting things ready since the close of last season.
Wake me up when it' s time to go.
I can' t stand the anticipation!

Where do you live Grizzly? Isnt there any state forests or WMA' s you cant hunt nearby? I cant wait until the season starts...I have been scouting all over the state, I' m not even sure where I' m gonna start.....10 days boys and the Muzzy' s will be flying.

Lefty-

I live in Ellicott City. I' ve only been here for a few years, and I' ve hunting the Patapsco Park for all of that time. To tell you the truth, I won' t go back. It' s absolutely elbow-to-elbow right around here, to the point where it' s just as likely to see a person walk by as it is a squirrel. All the landowners I' ve talked to flat out refuse to offer permission. I don' t know where to look next. If you' ve got suggestions, I' m all ears!!!!! Would be much appreciated.

Best,

Aaron

Count me in. I can' t wait. Bow is shooting bullets, camo is washed and sealed in the vaccume bag. I can' t do much more now than shoot here and there and WAIT.
Yea, I think I' m ready.

Grizzly-

I dont know how far you are willing to travel to hunt, but from the way it looks on a map your not to far from Frederick. There is the Frederick County Watershed which is not a bad place to hunt and there is Monocacy WMA which is a good place to hunt. Both of these places arn' t to bad in archery season especially during the week. I live in Hagerstown so it takes me about 40 min to get to either one of these spots but it can be worth the drive. Shoot me an email at jdog2626@aol.com and I can give you some more details if you like. There are some monster bucks hanging out on public land in MD if your willing to take a little drive and hike off the road a bit, it can really pay off.
