What"™s the deal with Gary Alt. I heard he resigned back in June and then decided to stay. I also heard that it was undecided as to what he would do for the game commission if he stayed. Has anyone heard? Is he still going to be the deer man?

Hmm, I remember hearing that he was going to resign if the state didn' t give him an acceptable benefits package....healthcare mainly. I haven' t heard anything about it since. I wonder though, too!

thanks for the link barnesx.308 , it was very interesting , especially the part about the new laws signed into effect concerning hunting , by rendell , and the lack of coverage my newspaper had on this as i know i didn' t read about it in it

Maybe I' m not getting it, but it looks like he' s only here for 90 days from July 1....is that tight? Then a promotion? So he won' t be the deer guru anymore? So many questions, so few answers.

I would think that this would be big news for PA hunters. I guess they want to keep it hush-hush until they know exactly what' s going to happen.
