Default Preseason Scouting, looking really good.

Couple hours ago I just got home from patroling around my hunting area as well as our leases for River Valley Outfitters. In about an hour I saw well over a hundred whitetails. Amoungst them were around 15 bucks, nothing exceptional but great prospects for the future....one piebald and plenty of twin fawns. As you can see, the buck to doe ratio is bad and the big ones must have been hanging back til dark. I like' s what I' s see' s.

Hey Rob. I am from Berwick, PA...I think that is somewhere near Muncy. Anyway, I have not been doing any scouting yet, but I can see my hunting area from my paps backyard and I have been seeing many deer as well. I have counted nine passing through at once. You may not think that' s so great, but that' s nine as opposed to none last year. There are two bucks that I have seen, a good 8-point and a 6-point (half-rack). Well, good luck this season. See you later.

This is just the new gun I' m getting. It doesn' t belong in a post about deer, but I like looking at it. [:-]

I' m preparing to focus a majority of my scouting efforts on a piebald that I' ve been seeing. The scouting should start this week! I got the itch too!
