Default Antler Restrictions, the New Fad

Here is a link to an interesting article on antler restrictions.

http://buffalo.uwex.edu/files/2011/0...he-new-fad.pdf

It does a good job of explaining the difference between the adult breeding B/D ratio and the antlered to antlerless ratio most hunters use to judge the B/D ratio.

I live in the 4 point per side area of Pa I think the restrictions should be uniform across the state thats only fair.

.... I live in a 4 points/side area. Do I like it? Not much. I DO think the "3-up" provision would help ease some of the pain, however, and help get some of those bucks who will never have brow tines and can sport some impressive head gear out of the gene pool.....

I don't know of any state that has the same uniform conditions throughout that would warrent a statewide inflexible management system.
