I hunt the Tug Hill region. I saw more deer in my area this year than over the last 4 put together. I only chose to shoot a doe for the freezer on a dmp. I saw a heck of a nice buck, but couldnt turn for him. I will get out down south a time or two more, but am happy with the meat in the freezer overall.

So I have a question. What is with PA and NY to use those as examples. Starting and ending deer season on a Monday. Why not start on Saturday and end on Sunday, like the rest of the country?

Our Northern Zone Rifle season starts on a Saturday and ends on a Sunday...
Our early muzzleloader also stars on a Saturday and ends on a Friday .

Than I am mistaken. Thank you for the correction.
I know i have seen here that some states start season on week days. I know i have. I'll have to look it up some time.
