Right back at ya. Would like to get my first bow kill in. Been bowhunting for 5 years without a kill, passed on spikes, Y's, and last year, couldn't get around on a big six, about 15 yards away. Lookin right at me, got behind a tree, and he proceeded to walk on a diagonal directly away from me, hid by the tree the whole time. By the time he came out, he was 35 yards away, and I said it wasn't worth the shot. I'm confident from 20 to 30. Now my son is great and he'd take 40, 45's, but I'm not that good at that range.
Best of luck to all. GETERDONE !!!

Good luck ..
Ive had 3 decent chances at a doe so far .
Didnt take a shot , They had there fawns with them each time ..
Sometimes I wonder why I bring my bow ...
I love to be out in the woods and seeing all the activity..
Very relaxing,,
I,m also waiting for a chance at a decent buck , At least with my bow..
Here in Northern NY its opening muzzleloader tommorow,
I may still use my bow a few more days. Although I bought a new TC Muzzle loader this past spring.... O,h welll.
Oh ya Ive been bow hunting at least 8 years and havent shot one yet ..
H ad a dandy 8 ptr at 20 yards last year with no clear shot .
And a huge 6 pointer abought 5 years ago at 10 yards ,
Drew my bow . looked at my arrow and it was at such an angle it would have hit my stand on release,, AArrgghhhh...
I,m patiently waiting.....

Thumbs up

Best of luck as well. Weather has been quite warm of late, and besides, right after Halloween till the 13th of Nov. should be better. I'm using the present time to do some in-season scouting and to pick some spots for my climber when the rut starts picking up. Find the does, you'll find the bucks.
