There was an article in North American Whitetail recently with a big non-typical shot on Long Island. Suffolk County, is it?

yeah, longisland is suffolk county. huge deer out there. because its all farms.

Yes Suffolk County is where we hunt. The deer grow very big because its primarily BOW only. Aside from a 3 week shotgun season which is regulated to a few state land sites. With that being said the deer grow to be quite old and yes the farms and agriculture do provide lots of nourishment for the racks. Now if we could stop the cars from killing the big deer we would be ok. Lots od deer/car collisions out there.
