I grew up here and so far I've seen more bigger bucks and deer in general than ever and I've only been bird hunting so far.(8x, Lindley, borders Addison) The woods are tore up too. They are just starting to chase. I'm thinking this is going to be a good weekend...

Things are starting to heat up a little. I hunt in Addison area and lots of scrapes/rubs showing up. Seen a few little ones so far but no shooters. I have seen pictures of two real nice bucks shot in Howard/Avoca area already. I have the next 2 weeks off so hopefulyl I can post a picture of a nice one myself!!

Only three hunters in our camp this year. We got an 8 and a 6. Had no doe tags so many lucky girls survived.

Nice, went out two days and got a buck Saturday morning. Went out this morning but with all the snow there was no movement. Walked about 6 miles and saw only two sets of tracks from small deer.

where exactly is this timber and is it for the public?
