Default Erie PA?

have a job interview in Erie, PA tomorrow and was wondering if anyone could give me there thoughts on Erie. It seems that Erie is kind of dead due to a lot of job loss. Does anyone know about the schools? From the research I have done so far it appears that the Millcreek area would be the best area to be in.

I don' t live in Erie, but I visit there quite frequently. It seems to be dying as far as the big companies like GE, International Paper and the like. I think the smaller businesses are doing alright. I can' t offer any opinion as to neighborhoods, but you can drive around and see what you see! Millcreek is a lot of business and housing as opposed to all business or all housing. Good luck on you interview.
