Default pa deer roadkill

Iv seen more deer killed along roads,Then i have in a long time.
Heck i got a average of about one a week right now.Up till recently almost never hit one.Anyone else seeing or experiencing that?

That is because with the deep snow, the only place they can walk is on the road. There is also lots of browse along road as well. Can you imagine what we would be experiencing if we wouldn't have reduced the herd?

We would be experiencing much better hunting!!! I haven't seen a roadkill since NOv.

I heard that Pennsylvania is going to start fining people for hitting deer with cars and for the bucks they are going to charge $100 for tine over 6 points as they say you are taking away their income when you run over one of their deer.

And if the PGC eliminates all the deer,elk and bear it will be doing an even better job of eliminating conflicts between wildlife and humans. And while they are at it ,they should also eliminate beavers, turkeys ,crows, raccoons and ground hogs in order to eliminate human wildlife conflicts.

The they could take it to the next step and eliminate humans to avoid human/human conflict.

Yep. I agree bb, thats about how much sense that excuse makes. Could use it for ANY amount of reduction including taking the herd to zero.
