Why just go with deer management? Get everything we can if going to play that way. We need to move forward here in PA.I believe PA is restricting people of their 2nd by not allowing them to use semi rifles to hunt with.
I don't see no reason why they can't allow them for small game and predator hunting. But yea, go for everything we can get.
But in the realm of it, I will continue to buy atleast my fur takers tag and can go without my reg hunting tags.

Lets face it,there are more animals you can hunt and take with a fur takers license than you can with a regular license. More abundant of predators than any other game out there. And you could make a few $ for gas money and have your license paid for.

Where do you come up with this stuff?Pa would be infringing on your second ammendment rights if they told you it would be illegal to possess a semi.I was at a bowhunter-ed class one time when this clown ask the WCO why it was illegal to go randomly shooting through the woods during hunting season. He thought that was trampeling on his 2nd amendment rights as well. The WCO stated that it was legal for him to carry a firearm out in the open while he was walking down the street as well but he couldn't just go lighting up the neighborhood. What's the difference?

Lets see about the furtakers lisence. You can hunt fox, coons and coyotes. With a regular lisence you can hunt deer, coyotes, squirrels, grouse, rabbits, pheasants,cr ows, woodchucks, turkeys and probaly a few other that I left out.Now you're trying to say that there's more furbearers than other game.Seriously, where do you come up with this stuff?

DougE furtakers includes trapping and if you think those are the only furbearers in Pa you'd be best to stick to deer

I fully undertsnad what furbearers are available to hunt.I just don't know alot who target skunks, grinners, weasels. If you're talking about trapping, you can add a few others like beavers, rats and mink but that still doesn't add up to more game animals that you can legitimately hunt with a regular lisence.

I'll stick mostly to deer which we actually have.Maybe you should stick with the elusive and imaginary mountain lions.

DougE. You are not allowed to hunt with semis is what I said. I did not say you was not allowed to own them. You are allowed to walk thru your owned property outside of city limits and shoot up what ever you want on your own property other than game animals.

You have to have a furtakers licenses to hunt fur bearing animals. You can't hunt Fox,coon, skunks and what ever animal is classified as a furbearing critter without a fur takers license. Only coyote are allowed to be hunted and shot with a reg hunting license.
