Default Found my NY Buck

Hit this guy on 11/20 and never recovered... shot was very far back (paunch / hindquarters) tracked about 150 yards and lost blood. Never found him then. Landowner called me a couple of days ago and found what was left of the buck 100 yards from last blood. Very glad to have closure to this one. Will be looking for a cape to mount... my 2nd largest buck to date.

Seen that scenario before. Glad you could bring it to a close at least.

Glad to hear you found him. It would have been a shame to see the squirrels chew up that rack. He's a nice one.

agreed with turkeygirl, glad the landowner called you up...disappointing it ended like it did for the buck and to be close to him after trailing
