Default My first Saturday in PA, what to expect?

I'll be in 4A, Everett, PA. I was there Opening Day and it was like a shooting gallery above me, saw several pushed deer but no trespassers, although a neighbor was within 5 yards of the property line watching my buddies land. My buddy suggested going Saturday because he said those deer are pushed all over the place.

So do you think more people make it out Saturday? Or do you think more people use drive methods or walk around more since the deer are already spooked? I know I am staying put except for a quick stroll around the land at 1:00pm or so to check a couple gullies.

I hope I get one, because I don't have enough meat to share the wealth of deer jerky.

What's your Saturday experience?

I would say sat this year may be even better then the 1st day. very few deer seen or taken here in 1b where I hunt.I am going to 1a on sat and alot of hunters are frustated about now and may sit at 1st in the early morning but, will move later if not seeing anything.I will stay put and use that to my advantage.alot of drives are put on the 1st sat even more now with no snow. good luck to you and I would stay put as long as you can stand it.

The snow killed me, I had to pack it in early because I was worried about the 75 mile ride home. I snuck up to several sets of does bedded down in some Hemlock patches, but no antlers. I think the weather kept a lot of hunters home today.
