Default deer hunt in Kenora , Ontario

Just wondering if anyone was up in the Kenora area this fall . With an exceptionally warm Sept/Oct ( again ) , really seemed to put the rut off again . saw few scrapes/rubs , and not a lot of deer . In 4 days we got one nice 9pt , but for the last week of the season we should have seen a lot more deer. Anyone have any better success ? later, W.

2 of my friends went up and neither got anything. A father and 2 sons went a couple weeks ago and they each got one. They had snow and the other 2 didn't.

I know two parties that went. One was 9 people and 8 scored. The other was 3 people and all 3 scored. Hunting power lines from what I understand. They went the last week that it was legal for non residents.
