I'm in 5a and seeing just the little guys playing around. I saw a very nice buck Friday night with three does but they split up on the way to my stand of course. The does around here have kicked the yearlings out so that's a good sign I guess. I have three evenings of hunting plus all day saturday this week, I hope it picks up quickly.

I'm hunting 2D and 2C. Experiencing the same as you and camosteel. Like I stated in another thread. Things can change in a split second this time of year. Just hang in there and go to your stand with a positive attitude. The season isn't over yet!

Seems like the bucks are just starting to get in gear here(4e) the weather is gonna turn cooler this weekend. I might hang up the bow and scout for some public buck out in 2g.

As long as the weekends weather holds up it should be good to sit on the stand all day. Its the last saturday on bow season for fall so good luck everyone!
