Default Very entertaining morning.

36 degrees and frosty this morning. Hit the rattle bag when I was able to see 30yds. Just like that,a small buck came trotting in. A 5pt. He was all full of pizz and vinegar. He worked over a small ash tree for over 5 minutes. He was bending that sucker clean to the ground. A little over an hour later, caught a deer running to my left. Then came another deer. It was a buck bumping a doe around. They stayed in the inside edge of the crabapples. Never got a good look at him. Had four longbeards walk by a little after ten. The other side of the river is stocked with pheasants on the flood control property. Heard a few shots along with beagles baying.Just a wonderful morning. Life is good!

Sure sounds like a decent morning to me.. It is hard to find any deer at all up this way right now.. Hopefully it will improve but I still have my freezer pretty well full any how.. For as far as turkeys go we have been seeing them all over the place up here..
