Default Day in the Pa Woods/ Early ML season

Went out today with the old T/C Omega for the early muzzeloder week in 4C. Got ou way too early and waited until first light. Made my way to a giant field. Glassed the field and noticed some movement to my left and noticed it was a deer. Raised my T/C and noticed a monster 8 pointer. I was totally amazed by his size, rack size and tine lenght. All I could think was that I have a muzzleloader and here is a monster making his way toward me. At about 150 yards, he was amazing. After a few minutes, he raised his nose and apparently felt something was wrong. He then trotted away. I was just amazd by this whole experience. I plan on hunting this field again tomorrow to see if he shows again. If he does, I will have a good idea of where my stand should be for the remainder of bow season. Just wantedto share my outdoor experience, God I love hunting.

Anyone in Pa have any luck in the early muzzleloader season?

Stay Safe

KC
