Default Moose hunt

Our buddy; Phil from Maine will be headed for his moose hunt shortly. Reports are;there is a giant male moose roaming the area that Phil will be hunting. I would like to wish Phil a safe and successful hunt. With hopes that he bags this monster moose!

Watch out for this guy. He has a nasty disposition.

If you bag this monster, contact forum members. We'll be glad to give you a hand with this beast.

GOOD LUCK Phil!

hilarious sign, but myyyyyyyyyy gawddddddddddddd what an animal...i hope to have an opportunity like that someday, similar to what my grandfather did with his old (and now mine) bear super mag, when the thing got up 6 yards away after being shot through the shoulder with a magnus fixed blade

unreal dude

Well everyone thanks for the good luck wishes and all.. I never got a shot at one with my bow like I wanted to. I called 1 out the first day of the hunt. It took a whole 30 minutes to see one. We thought it was a cow at first and when it got up on a small ridge we realized it was a small bull. My sub drew and shot as we agreed right from the begining that the first bull we saw one of us would shoot it.. So we ended up with a 4 pointer that was around 65 yards when he shot and it ran another roughly 65 yards. In the end we was 5 1/2 hours getting him out and on the truck. He will be good eating anyways. I am guessing he is around 600 pounds dressed. Here is a pic of it..
